Yet positive experiences are the building blocks needed for health, happiness and fulfilling relationships. What a great topic for a blog!! I am always looking for books that will change me for the better or open my eyes to a new way of thinking. I recently read a book that did this for me by author Judith Lambert called “The Light” http://www.judithlambertbooks.com/. It is in the religion and spiritual genre so I admit that I was skeptical when I first opened this book; I have spent much of my life as an agnostic, so I figured this wouldn’t do much for me. While I am still reticent about the whole idea of “faith”, I looked at this story of “The Light” as more of a metaphysical entity, something tangible within this life, if not the next, if there is one. It was very well written, allowing me to experience the viewpoints of the various “sages” that she speaks to. This also fed into my admittedly jaded viewpoint, that religion is more “theater of the mind” and that what matters is that we have something to believe in, not necessarily what it is that we believe in. It is definitely worth a read, whether it does something for you religiously is up to the reader! I think it’s a must read for all.
