There is an immediate connection between our spiritual wellbeing and physical health.

Traditional Chinese medicine pays a lot of attention to energy movement patterns in different parts of the body at different times of the day.

During the 24-hour cycle the body directs and distributes energy to different organs.

If you keep constantly waking up at a certain time, it can mean that some of the energy flows are disrupted, blocked or wrongly directed. It interferes with our natural balance and cycles. This can be bad since our organs need energy to heal and function properly.

Here is a list of reasons why you keep waking up at the same time every night, which also explains the connection between time and  particular organs in the body. It’s important to say that these energy blockages don’t only have a physical aspect, but also a spiritual one. Also, think about what and when you ate last, because it can be a symptom of your problems as well.

# 21:00 – 23:00

This the usual time when most of the people are trying to fall asleep. At these hours, our endocrine system is re-balancing and filling with enzymes. The endocrine system regulates the hormones and metabolism, so if you’re having problems to sleep in these hours maybe you are stuck in the ‘fight or flight’ mode.

Are you still reliving what happened during the past days? Or have you already started preparing for the future challenges? Repeat positive mantras and get rid of patterns that disrupt your wellbeing. Another thing that can lead to blocked energy is your unhealthy diet or eating at the late hours.

# 23:00- 01:00

Have you been waking up between 11 p.m. and 1 a.m.? Think about whether you’re holding a grudge. This is the time 84 hours ago when the yin transforms into yang.

Yang energy is really active and the body needs to preserve it for the next day. Start respecting and loving yourself more, and also give do your best to cale down and save your energy.

This is the time when the gallbladder breaks down fat. Maybe there is a chance that you’ve been taking in a lot of unhealthy fats  and oils.

# 01:00 – 03:00

This is the crucial time for body detoxification end recovery. Your liver is getting read of all the toxins and produces new blood.

Waking up in this time of the night indicates anger, frustration and negative emotions. Unless you deal with your spiritual toxins, your liver will keep sounding the alarm.

# 03:00 – 05:00

Between 3 and 5 a.m., our lungs recover and feed oxygen to the body.

Make sure you feel warm enough to ease your body’s functions. If your sleep is interrupted at this part of the night, try doing breathing exercises.

Chest pain often indicates emotional pain and sorrow.

# 05:00 – 07:00

All the dissolved toxins that our body releases during the night, are leaving the system.

The most active organ in this period is the colon. Consuming heavy food before going in bed can wake you up between 5 a.m and 7 a.m.
