Get Rid Of Negative Influences.
Of course some negative people are unavoidable. Like people in your family or at work. But you can limit the time you are spending with them. And you can choose your friends and who you socialize with in your free time. Surround yourself with positive people. Cut out those who are constantly unhappy, uncaring, abusive or neglectful. These people suck out all the positive energy out of you, the positive energy that you need to attract good things into your life.
Clean Out Your House (And Office).
First of all, unclutter. Old things in your house trap a lot of negative energy. Old clothes, newspapers, magazines, documents… get rid of them.
Then clean your house. And do not just hoover and wash the dishes, also clean the rugs, curtains, walls, windows, do your laundry etc. Open the windows, let the sunshine and fresh air in and the negative energy out. Add living plants and color. By making your house or office a more positive space, you will notice that you will also get rid of the negative energy inside of you.
Change Your Thinking.
Cleanse your own negative thoughts. Don’t let the small things bother you. Don’t complain and judge or criticise others. But also love yourself more. Be more forgiving of yourself. No one is perfect so don’t dwell on your mistakes or imperfections.
Repeating positive affirmations every day can help you make your thoughts more positive. So can inspiring and motivating quotes. As well, try keeping a gratitude journal, or at least take a few minutes every day to think what you are thankful for. Start right now, share with us what you are grateful for today in the comments below.
And, finally, don’t play the victim. You create your own life—so take responsibility. Stop blaming others and start taking steps towards making your life better. And if you’re not sure where to begin, start by watching this free video here. It will point you into the right direction.
Take A Bath.
Taking a bath or a nice long hot shower can help elevate your personal energy. It’s a very easy and effective method. Just soak for 20-30 minutes, relax and unwind. Also, try adding unrefined sea salt (or Himalayan crystal salt) and oils to your bath. Salt water bath has long been known as a great way to cleanse aura and increase health and vitality. And essential oils with their lovely fragrance will help you relax even more and let go of negativity faster. (plus the bath will also leave your skin feeling nice and soft).
Put All Of Your Worries On Paper.
Take a pen and paper and write out everything that worries you. Sometimes it may seem like a lot in your head, but once you see it written down you will understand that it’s not that much and you can deal with it.
Also, the point is to take out all the negativity from inside of you and put it on an external object. So don’t think that you have to make this list short, or even make it a list at all. Try writing down all of your negative thoughts. Every single worried thought you’re having. And then just get rid of that paper. Burn it or throw it away.
Meditation increases serotonin production that improves mood and behaviour. It decreases anxiety, helps gain clarity and peace of mind. It helps heal your energy system and maintain vibrant energy field.
So choose a peaceful environment, sit (or lie down) in a comfortable position and try to clear your mind. Meditation really isn’t as complicated as it sounds, you can learn more meditation tips for beginners here.
If you worry about something, start visualizing a positive outcome. Envision the desired result in your mind or a situation where you don’t have to worry about that thing anymore. Try to imagine how that would make you feel. And preserve that feeling for as long as possible.
And if there is nothing in particular that worries you, but you still feel negative, just visualize your biggest dream or something that would make you happy. Like traveling to an exotic place or going on a perfect date. Think about the colors, the objects, and the details.
Work It Out.
Finally, when nothing else is working, and you still feel angry or sad, sometimes the best thing you can do is just sweat it out. In fact, many doctors are actually prescribing exercise to battle stress, depression and anxiety. Whatever you choose to do, go for a run, do yoga, lift some weights, swim, go for a long walk, play some tennis – a good workout will help clean out your mind of negative thoughts.
