Is The Bible Hiding Something? Lilith – Adam’s First Wife

Many Christians around the world think of the Holy Bible as the ultimate source of the knowledge of the world and the origin of mankind. It is the Bible which told the story of Adam and Eve, the first man and woman.

Eve is said to have been made from the rib of Adam and is his wife. But the truth might be different from what the Catholic Church wants you to believe. The first woman was not Eve, it was Lilith and she was the first wife of Adam.

So who was created first?

In the King James Bible’s Book of Genesis, there is a verse which clearly indicates that Man and Woman were both created at the same time as whole beings, not from the bone of the other.

Genesis 1:27 King James Version (NKJV)

27 And God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.

As we see in that verse of the traditional Bible, there it is related that at the moment when God created man, he created the male and also the female and also the phrase “created them “, reaffirms that, clearly indicating that the woman also was created at the same instant with the man. This would be the clearest proof of the existence of Lilith embodied in the Bible itself.

So Lilith was a being created on equal terms with Adam, of course, had her female reproductive organs that today women have but in general terms, they were two equal human beings, with the same faculties, strength, and character, created from the same dust but none above the other.

This kind of information would be greatly disturbing towards the philosophy preached by the Church for millennia. It puts woman not as the subordinate of man, but created as his equal.

Lilith, The First Woman

Lilith was the first wife of Adam. And apparently, she was a bit too much for him to handle and so he requested God for a replacement. Unlike what Christianity would like us to believe, the first woman was not the submissive subordinate of Adam.

She was a self sufficient and resilient woman who was ready to clash with her Creator head on for things she believed in. She was an equal to Adam in all rights and perhaps even better than him when it comes to Intimacy.

This must have made Adam feel inferior and thus Eve entered the picture, this time made to suit his ego better.

Lilith on the other hand, chose Samael to be her partner, another creature from the Garden, amongst those who were forbidden to interact with mankind. She and her progeny were punished for this and she bore the punishment with grace, never apologizing and standing firm for her decisions.

No wonder the Church wants to hide the story of this independent woman because otherwise how would they justify the inequality towards women.
